One year ago today we welcome our sweet baby girl into our family. She is so incredibly sweet and loving, we both just cant get enough of her. It has been amazing helping her discover so many new things, it really has made us appreciate the little things in life.
Here are some of the things she has accomplished over the year
March:
Born at 4pm at McKay Dee hospital she weighed 7lbs 12 oz, 21 in long
Was admitted into the NICU because she swollowed meconium (poop) we were able to take her home after and amazingly fast recovery
Had her days and nights on track right from the get go
Gained an entire pound lbs 2 weeks Dr Rose was really impressed
Smiled all the time (even though they were not intentional)
Slept 6 hours a night after 3 weeks
April:
Went to the mall for the first time, enjoyed being out side
Gave us her first real smile with her cute dimples, she looks just like her daddy
Got some weird rash called severia
Had 2 ear infections, she never once was fussy about them
May:
Started sleeping from 10 pm till 7am
Flew 1st class to Chicago to meet her daddy who was there for business, she rode in a train, a bus, and a cab
Started holding her head up by herself
Took her first rode trip to Boise Idaho
Gma Bobbie got her to giggle for the 1st time
Stared clapping her hands, and squealing when she was happy.
June:
Rolled over for the first time front to back
Daddy blessed her in our home on June 8th
Grabbed at toys, was able to pick them up and shake them
Found her toes and liked to suck on them
Started sleeping in her own crib
Had a growing admiration for her daddy (the beginning of a big daddy's girl)
July:
Giggled when her feet were tickled
Rolled over back to front
Kicked when she was happy
Started eating cereal in her bottle
Spent an entire week with Gma & Gpa DeVere while mommy and daddy were in Lake Powell
August:
Started eating her veggies, had a huge preference for sweet potatoes
Started sitting up on her own
Really likes to be around other kids, giggles at them
Got her ears pierced
Took her second rode trip to St George
September:
Rolls all over the place
Started giving open mouth kisses
Loves dogs
Started waving bye bye
Giggles at all stuff animals
Pushed her self to sitting position from her stomach
Played peak a boo on her own
Started saying mum mum mum when crying
October:
Everything goes in to her mouth
Started crawling
Had her first word Mama
Reached up her arms to be held
Had her second word baba
Pulled her self up in her crib
Plays if your happy and you know it, and big girl
Dressed up as the little mermaid wig and all
November:
Plays memory game with cups and a golf ball
Stands with the help of furniture
Gets both bottom teeth in the same week never fussed
Really enjoys Katie babys piano playing
Stands alone
Tests her balance from coffee table to couch
December:
Starts really interacting with other kids
Opens and closes every drawer and door
Loves to turn our satellite and xbox on and off
Holds a phone to her ear
Loves kissing everyone
Walks from Gmas ottoman to couch
January:
Walked far distances at the Fowlers home during the Utah Alabama game
Talking allot more even though it is gibberish
Can place phone calls to daddy on moms phone
Fearless loves to be thrown in the air
Is not afraid of anyone, she loves men
Likes to be center of attention, especially with gma bobbie
Had her first taste of sugar this month suckers, cake
Loves bananas, with every bite she says mmmmm
February:
Walking allot trying to run
Got her a high chair she loves to sit and watch mickey mouse club house or little einsteins while eating breakfast, still prefers baby food or whole fruit over pancakes or waffles
Third rode trip to St George, loved to play out side touched grass for the first time
Went to the park for the first time and loved going down the slide and having to room to just
Top tooth came in
Blows kisses to people
Likes to drink from a cup by herself
Started giving closed mouth kisses
Very loving girl gives hugs all the time
March:
Had her 1st party and gma husteads
Saying more words like bye bye, hi, yes, no, dog, papa
She really has a sassy personality
Loves playing with her friends
Pulls all her toys out of her bucket and then puts them all back
Favorite game to play is hide and seek, and I'm going to get you
When she runs she scrunches her shoulders up and raises her arms and giggles its so funny to watch
We love our baby!!

This is an adorable post I love it, how cute to go through each month. What month did she all of a sudden get so much hair?!
Oh my goodness! You have the most beautiful daughter and I'm impressed with what a great Mother you are to keep track of all the fun things sweet Kennedy has done from from day 1. It's easy to see that you and Tyson are great parents! Congrats on completing your first year of Motherhood!
I love those pictures of her, just beautiful. That year goes by so fast doesn't it? Doesn't seem fair sometimes.
